Tactical Lines is a board strategy game for Windows. It is similar to those games in which you need to line up diamonds or balls of the same color to make them disappear. Here, the gameplay is rather similar, but you have to line up 5 balls of the same color for them to disappear. The game adds other difficulties as well. Here, you don't just click on balls to move them one step to a side. You can move them as long as there is a clear path from where they originally are to where you want them to be. If the path is blocked by other balls on all sides, you can't move the ball. Also, every time you make a turn, new, smaller balls appear on certain slots. Those small balls can't be moved, but they block other balls. So, the whole objective of the game is to create lines of balls of the same color as long as you can without letting the screen get filled with balls that block your other balls. The trial version of the game doesn't allow you to save or load your game, and there is a very, very annoying screen that pops up every 30 seconds to remind you that you are playing a trial version. Other than that, the game is fun and involves more thinking than other games of the genre.
